Okay, so what gives? Why does Rhino pull all the soundboards from being downloaded? So they can have more commercial releases.
Then why do they still allow the posting of audience shows of commercially released CD's? It's not very smart business.
Who is going to pay a primo price for a primo show if they can get it for free? That's right. No one.
Economics 101 was obviously not taken by the numbnuts who are in charge. It's a real simple concept; supply = demand. If your supply is free, there is no demand. DUH!!!
Anyway, as with all the shows that I've heard that have been commercially release, there is a reason they have been released. It's usually because they kick ass. DP 27 is no exception. Sweet ass show.
Download it, buy it from dead.net, stream it. Good, solid show. Peace and hang loose.

Solid show but not my favorite of the run. I kind of like the first 2 nights. The Casey Jones is fantastic. It is by far the best they played after 84'

oh, serious deadheads, pardon me ... I've got this big black plastic garbage bag ... I've just been picking up the pieces after the band took back all their soundboards from this stand . . .
and this download vividly resonates with that reality in me that is still picking up the garbage around the colisuem - and never getting my ticket for it!

I prefer the AUD sources of this run to the healy mixes. Just me though.
This show is the CLEAR highlight of this run and the entire 'second-half' of '92. First set is smooth w/ a nice lucy. The Shakedown is jazzy and powerful, but the ensuing Samson simply rips the coliseum apart. Jerry is blistering and phil is thumping all the way thru! Needless to say the dark star and casey encore are sweet (although a bit sloppy), but the stella is also pristine as you could hear a pin drop during the quiet moments. Download both sources immediately.
